These classes will be located in Moose Jaw at the library!
Materials, tools, and sewing machines are provided. All participants will take home their finished projects at the end of the class. You are also welcome to bring your own machine if you have one! Please use the code "gotmyownmachine" at checkout for a 20% discount if you are bringing your own machine.
No previous sewing experience is required to attend these classes.
Class Descriptions:
10:00 - 12:00 Tails and Ears: This class is open to ages 5 and up however I recommend that an adult stay for the class if your child is 5 or 6 years old. In this class we will be making our own tails and a headband with ears! To finish up the class we will put on a little play with our new creations.
12:30 - 2:30 Upcycled skirt Class: This class is open to students of any age (child, teen or adult). Children ages 5-7 must be accompanied by an adult that can help them as they go. In this class, we will be turning table cloths, bed sheets, and other thrifted items into adorable and fun skirts that are custom fit to the sewists preferences.
Little siblings are also welcome to tag along for any class if that works best for your family. Children under 5 are not able to participate in sewing, but they can be present with an adult!
Want to come for both classes? Feel free to sign up for both. You are welcome to bring a lunch and stay for the break between the two classes.
Cancellation policy: A full refund will be provided if you cancel with at least 48hrs notice of the class or if on shorter notice I can find a replacement participant. A full refund will also be provided if I need to cancel for any reason (illness, not enough participants, bad weather).
Late policy: If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, you will not be able to participate and you will not receive a refund. We need to follow a specific class timeline so that all participants can go home with finished projects, so this policy allows us to stay on schedule.
